Before the lilac bush lost all its blooms I made a couple of arrangements and took lots and lots of pictures.
Here is the first simple bouquet: 3 lilac branches and 5 purple tulips in a vintage white milk carafe.
And it turned out I was not the only one who enjoyed the smell of lilac.

Lilac
The garden changes every day, every minute, every second: leaves are getting bigger, flowers are opening up, new plants are popping out. Today I spotted first lilac flowers in our front yard. I can't wait to bring several branches inside and fill our living room with the sweet lilac smell.
And it's hard for me to believe that only a couple of days ago all we could see were tiny flower buds:
Still, they are so tender and beautiful
More lilac freshness...
I am seriously contemplating an idea of planting a second bush: a white one, or maybe a darker purple one, or one of those beautiful pink-ish ones?
