Here is a gift I made for a friend of mine.

This was my first experience in book binding ...

... and I think it came out pretty good.

I decorated the front with a flower (also made by yours truely) and added a pocket on one of the last pages.

This was a great upcycling project: pages were made with old printing paper, fabric for the cover was a part of an old comforter, I made a decorative flower out of an old curtain, and used scrapbook paper for endsheets.
